Laurie Burke was the original “Google Voice.” You may know her from movie reviews and other on-air hosting for Common Sense Media – shown on Comcast and Cox Cable Networks nationwide, as well as www.commonsensemedia.org. This Thursday May 30th Laurie will host a conversation with cutting edge application developers at the 17th SF AppShow.

A professional actress and voice over talent, Laurie found her way to Google when her company was acquired. At Google she became the original “Google Voice.” Since then she’s worked in movies and television as well as with the Common Sense Media.

As our special guest, Laurie will check out new apps from a variety of categories, interview their developers and take your questions from the stage. Show starts at 7pm.
